Ainsley is a 3-piece outfit comprising of a halter neck "bra" top that has a lovely central motif. The skirt has a slight "handkerchief" hem look to the sides but is short at the front to reveal the long leg laces of the sandals that also come with this outfit. Fits like a glove and has an array of striking colours in a hud.

The Parisienne Fashion Show - (Saturday 10th September 2022 at 1:00pm SLT) - Emerald Couture

Bonjour mes amoureux!

Fancy a little stroll down the Champs-Élysées? otherwise known as the "most beautiful avenue in the whole world" and known for its luxury shops, cafes and theatres.

Today on the Champs-Élysées the models of fifth Avenue Modelling Agency, which is co-owned by Sherry Pragma, Silke Veerle Pragma, Sunday Whitewood, Ethan Lighthouse, Moonglownight and Ellen, hit the runway wearing the latest fashions by Emerald Couture.

There were 18 of us in total to model all of Emerald's latest designs and it all went extremely smoothly. Although it could be a little cramped back stage we all coped professionally and enjoyed the challenge.

Here you can see just a few of us waiting to exit onto the runway. The air was tense with a feeling of excitement and anticipation....as well as hoping everything goes according to plan.

Between Walk 1 & 2 Fifth Avenue producers decided to let us have a little time out to shake our booties on the Champs-Élysées. Here you can see me coincidently standing outside the EC shop on the Avenue and it is advertising what I am wearing which is Libi by Emerald Couture and comprises of:

Walk 2 - Delilah by Emerald Couture

The finale was evening wear and here you see me wearing Delilah, a beautiful sleek evening gown comprising of:

This was truly a wonderful show and enjoyed immensely by both models and spectators alike.

It ended with the whole cast, crew and visitors dancing on the main avenue under the Eiffel Tower. It was beautifully decorated and had that savoir faire feeling of polished elegance in society.

A squirrel's thoughts - 

You know learning to model is a lot more than looking pretty. It takes brains and a lot of hard work at times especially for those who build sets, arrange walks, liase with designers, book DJs and make it all come together. I must say I have a newfound respect for this culture. It takes a lot of time and dedication to introduce the outfit you are modelling to the audience. Making sure it is nothing less than perfect, no prim breaks, no ill-fitting accessories, but at the end of the day when it comes together like this show did it is well worth all the hours of work put in when you leave with a sense of accomplishment. I can tell you...you certainly hit your bed that night and sleep deeply...exhausted but happy

Spoonful of Sugar Festival 2022

 Good Day Gorgeous People 💖

If you haven't already been to the Spoonful of Sugar Festival in SL then what are you waiting for! 

It is every shopper's dream and consists of  over 250 designers with stalls of every description. There is something for everyone. As well as shopping heaven, there is the "Get Crabby Hunt", free gifts, auction and live events throughout starting from 3rd and runs till 18th September 2022.

Telsiope Couture has a stall there and for every item bought between 50 and 100% is donated depending on the vendor.

A Squirrel's thoughts....This is one of those dresses where the texture speaks for itself. Has a very soft look and although very feminine has a little touch of "kick ass" that appeals to the tom boy in me. Rocks in most situations and especially the steampunk/clockwork venues. Add some cyber boots and Steampunk accessories and voila!!

A Squirrel's thoughts....Want to enter a room and have heads turning? Then this is the dress for you. Very pretty and feminine but also daring and sexy. The material sparkles and catches the light (make sure you have advanced lighting activated to get the full effect). It is very sweet, girly and screams fun.

3/4 length strappless figure hugging tube dress with texture hud comprising of 12 colors that works with Maitreya Lara, Belleza Freya, Isis and Venus, Slink Physique and Hourglass, and Legacy.

A Squirrel's thoughts....Simply stunning! Soft and elegant. This is definitely one of those dresses that says "Less is definitely more". It will work with a multitude of situations. Evening wear (as shown) or add a denim jacket and dress it down for casual wear. Very alluring and daringly effective!

Day One and a whole new adventure!

Hello World of Blogging!!!

Firstly,  a little bit about myself.... I have been in Second Life 7 years next month (October 22) and spent most of my time shopping (you know where I'm coming from girls!) 

My SL probably kicked off when I met my partner, Sitlan Breil aka Nut. We met at a dance show, sitting next to each other, on 30th April and partnered on 2nd July 2021 and so far are going from strength to strength.

The story behind Nut and Squirrel is simply because I kept saying he was a nut, totally crazy and always making me laugh with his "one liners". He in turn said he was my nut which made me his Squirrel...and there you have it Nut & Squirrel and our home in SL is called The Wonderlicious Nest!

Sitlan owns Telsiope Couture and together we supply a gorgeous, reasonably priced line of both casual and formal wear for the beautiful ladies of SL. (Sitlan has just started making a men's range, more to come about that so keep posted) In coming posts you will see our latest releases, special offers and details of events we are currently in around the grid.

There is so much to share with you and I am really looking forward to future posts about fashion, life, loves, events, shows and more!
